No one said my WIP knitting had to be good progress. So I cast on… and I hate casting on. I do the thumb method because it’s the only one I ever learned. And I hate how loose it is; I have to knit a foundation row which sucks cause the loose thumb loops are flailing all over the place. Ugh.
But here it is. One day it may be my Calorimetry… maybe. It will match my winter coat if it ever gets finished!

As a veteran of the bad Cast-on wars, I would be happy to “tutor” you in a better way. If you care to take me up, give me a shout.

Thumb cast on??? Not sure what that is… I only knew one way until last year, now I know two… lol I’d love to learn more but I am an old dog.

If you have not learnt the long tail cast on by the next time I see you, I will teach it to you then. Or just come to a SCC knitting group and you can learn there!
