My favourite LYS (and I mean super local) celebrated their 2nd Year Anniversary this weekend. Back in March, my sister gave me a gift certificate to the LYS for my birthday. So, gift certificate in hand, boyfriend in tow, I headed to Three Bags Full on Sunday.
I didn’t really buy three bags full of yarn (unlike some of my Terminal City Yarn Wranglers), but I got three lovely skeins!
That’s my first ever Malabrigo Merino Worsted in Oceanos (*gasp* I know Anne!)
And my favourite – Blue Sky Alpacas 100% Organic Dyed Cotton in Thistle and Orchid.
I can’t wait to make:
Can you guess? Give up? (Don’t cheat by looking at my Rav Progress Bars). Click the links for the Ravelry projects to Calorimetry, Diagonal Lace Scarf, and Anthropologie-Inspired Capelet.

You did it! Although I do confess to Rav-stalking you… :-) Welcome to the world of MMmmmm. You might notice I just a bit of it in my stash at present.

Two outta’ three ain’t bad… I didn’t get the scarf.
Lovely purchases there… I still must try the skein of Blue Sky Cotton I own before I swear off 100% cotton forever.

Owwww.. such good yarn choices! I want to try both of those. I was waaaay to busy last weekend to get to TBF even though I knew about the sale before hand.
May I suggest you start with calorimety first? I made it last winter and it’s super easy. I finished it in 2 non-working days. :)
